Greggs has delighted fans with the announcement of the return of its popular Festive Bake. The bakery chain has confirmed that its Christmas menu will be available in stores starting next Thursday, November 6. The Festive Bake is a savory pastry filled with chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, and topped with a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.
In addition to the Festive Bake, Greggs is bringing back the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition), previously known as the Vegan Festive Bake. This vegan option features Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing, vegan bacon, and is finished with cranberry and red onion sauce.
Other highlights from the festive menu include the Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette, described as a portable Christmas dinner with chicken, stuffing, bacon, cheddar, cranberry relish, and onion gravy. The Hot Festive Flatbread, featuring sage and onion chicken mayo, bacon, and cranberry relish, will also make a return.
For those with a sweet tooth, Greggs will offer a variety of festive treats such as the Christmas Cake Slice, Gingerbread Muffin, Chocolate & Hazelnut Doughnut, and Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads.
To complement the festive offerings, Greggs is introducing a range of seasonal hot drinks including Mint Mocha, Mint Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte, available hot or over ice.
On a different note, Greggs has adjusted prices on some menu items due to rising costs. The bakery chain has increased the price of its breakfast deals, as well as certain baked goods like the empire biscuit. Earlier this year, Greggs also raised the price of its sausage roll by 5p.
Overall, customers can look forward to indulging in a variety of festive treats and drinks at Greggs this holiday season.
