Good Morning Britain host Ross King recently shared his surprise upon reviewing his Strictly Come Dancing contract for this year’s competition. Leading up to the show’s launch in September, celebrities like Ross undergo intensive training. Ross admitted to being taken aback by a specific detail in his contract that outlined a minimum of four hours and a maximum of eight hours of training per day.
In anticipation of the show, Ross has been honing his dance skills and working on his fitness with various activities. While discussing his upcoming participation on the BBC program, he mentioned this lesser-known clause during an interview on the How To Be 60 with Kaye Adams podcast.
Notably, Ross is not the first Good Morning Britain personality to showcase their dance abilities on Strictly Come Dancing. Past participants from the show include Kate Garraway in 2007, Charlotte Hawkins in a later season, and Ranvir Singh, who made it to the semi-finals in 2020.
The upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing, premiering tomorrow, will feature Ross alongside a lineup of celebrities, such as Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston, and others. With an extensive career in television spanning over three decades at ITV, Ross is well-known for reporting entertainment news from the US on Good Morning Britain and Lorraine.
Recognized for his red carpet appearances at prestigious events like the Oscars and Golden Globes, Ross has interviewed numerous global celebrities throughout his career. The new season of Strictly Come Dancing is scheduled to air on BBC One tomorrow at 6.40 pm.
