Drake delighted his fans with a variety of surprises, including new tracks, in his highly anticipated “not so short film” release on Tuesday night. The rapper had teased the film on Instagram, accurately describing it as an extensive production.

Lasting around an hour, the film, titled “Fear of Missing Out (FOMO),” showcased Drake’s summer adventures and extravagant lifestyle. Viewers were taken on a journey through his luxurious Toronto mansion, witnessing moments of him dancing, interacting with his mother Sandra Graham and her friends, and cruising in his lime-green luxury speedboat towards the Toronto skyline.

Packed with Toronto and Canada references and hidden details, the video featured Drake walking through the Canadian National Exhibition with fellow rapper Loe Shimmy, both dressed in $150,000 Iron Man suits. The star-studded film included appearances from SexyyRed, Stunna Sandy, Winnie Harlow, Kevin Durant, Lena the Plug, and more.

Similar to his previous livestream “ICEMAN” from four months ago, parts of which were repurposed for visual albums, “FOMO” also previewed new music collaborations with Don Toliver, PartyNextDoor, and Yeat. The film introduced nine fresh tracks, including Drake’s highly anticipated remix of Ella Langley’s hit song “Choosin’ Texas.”

During the Toronto premiere of “FOMO,” Drake announced plans for a world tour in 2027, exciting his fans with the prospect of upcoming shows. However, for those who missed the livestream, Drake made the film private on his YouTube page shortly after its debut.

Reactions to the film were mixed among viewers who managed to watch it. While some found it lacking, others praised it as a symbol of Drake’s long-lasting success in the music industry. Fellow artists like Spice congratulated Drake on his hard work and dedication, highlighting the impact of “FOMO” on social media.

Drake, also known as Aubrey Graham, had teased the film’s release through Instagram posts, building anticipation among his followers. With a message of self-reflection and empowerment, Drake encouraged viewers to seize opportunities and make the most of their lives through meaningful actions.
