Several charities have ended their association with Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, after an email surfaced where she referred to Jeffrey Epstein as a “supreme friend.” Among the organizations that have dropped her as a patron are the British Heart Foundation (BHS), The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, Prevent Breast Cancer, Julia’s House, Children’s Literacy Charity, and National Foundation for Retired Service Animals. The BHS spokesperson confirmed that Sarah, Duchess of York, is no longer serving as an ambassador for the British Heart Foundation.

The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation expressed being “disturbed” by the recent revelation and stated that Sarah Ferguson had not been actively involved with the charity for some years. Prevent Breast Cancer also announced that the Duchess of York is no longer a patron, thanking her for past support. Teenage Cancer Trust ended its 35-year relationship with the duchess as a patron and conveyed their appreciation for her past support.

Children’s Literacy Charity and Julia’s House also severed ties with the duchess in light of recent information regarding her correspondence with Jeffrey Epstein. The founder of Julia’s House mentioned that it would be inappropriate for her to continue as a patron, and they appreciated her past support.

The email to Epstein, dated April 26, 2011, showed the duchess apologizing for her previous statements linking him to paedophilia and expressing regret for her actions. Reports revealed that she later sent another email to Epstein, expressing fear and apologizing for not responding earlier.

The duchess expressed remorse for her actions, emphasizing her abhorrence for paedophilia and her commitment to sever ties with Epstein. She acknowledged her error in judgment and vowed to distance herself from him in the future.
