Arike Ogunbowale also made a significant contribution with 21 points, showcasing season-high numbers in free throws and attempts by making 13 of 14 shots. Alanna Smith recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Awak Kuier chipped in with 14 points.
Despite missing key players like Jessica Shepard and Azzi Fudd due to injuries, Dallas managed to secure the win. Marina Mabrey’s late-game push for the Tempo closed the gap to just three points after being down by 18 in the third quarter.
Bueckers demonstrated her versatility with eight assists and three steals, including a crucial steal leading to a breakaway layup that extended the Wings’ lead to 10 points in the final minutes. She finished the game shooting 7 of 11 from the field and a perfect 7 of 7 from the free-throw line in the second half.
On the Tempo side, Laura Juskaite contributed 18 points, and Kia Nurse added 16 points, despite missing starters Brittney Sykes and Julie Allemand.
