Apple has introduced the iPhone 17e, offering significant enhancements at an affordable price of £599. Featuring a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, and a high-quality single-lens camera, this device stands out as a budget-friendly option compared to Apple’s flagship iPhone model.
Samsung has also unveiled its latest models, the A57 and A37, starting at just £399. While these phones may not match the performance and charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they boast a large 6.7-inch screen with advanced 120Hz technology, providing a smooth user experience for various activities like browsing, emailing, and gaming.
The Galaxy phones come equipped with impressive features such as massive 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and a durable design with IP68 water and dust resistance. Additionally, Samsung has integrated smart features like Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and enhanced photo editing tools for seamless image customization and sharing.
Users can benefit from improved Voice Transcription within the Voice Recorder app, enabling quick transcription and translation of call recordings, making it easier to access important information from meetings, lectures, or conversations. Samsung also promises extended support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, with up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th. The Galaxy A57 5G will be priced from £529 (256GB), while the Galaxy A37 5G will start at £399 (128GB), offering a range of color options to choose from.
Samsung’s VP of Product and Marketing, Annika Bizon, emphasized the importance of making AI accessible to more users and highlighted the everyday performance benefits of AI in the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G models.
