Andrew Tate is gearing up for his debut in Misfits Boxing, where he will face off against the promotion’s heavyweight champion, Chase DeMoor. Tate, aged 38, brings with him a background in combat sports, particularly kickboxing, where he enjoyed a successful career as a four-time champion before being forced to retire due to multiple eye injuries affecting his final fights.

The influencer, known for his controversial persona, had hinted at transitioning to boxing in recent months. While there were talks of potential matchups with Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr, it has been confirmed that Tate will square off against DeMoor, the 29-year-old reigning heavyweight champion who recently defended his title against Natan Marcon.

Although Till may have missed out on facing Tate, the former UFC title contender is expected to participate in the event’s undercard, with his opponent yet to be finalized. The much-anticipated event, titled Misfits Mania, is set to take place on December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.

The fight schedule is pending confirmation, but the main card is anticipated to kick off around 6pm UK time, with Tate likely making his entrance around 9pm UK time. Viewers can expect the event to be on pay-per-view as Misfits will opt for a new broadcaster for this non-DAZN showcased event.

The matchup lineup includes Andrew Tate vs. Chase DeMoor and Darren Till vs. TBA, with the full card to be unveiled closer to the event date. Tate expressed his excitement for the bout, stating, “The largest disruptive force in sports entertainment history, so considering that somebody that failed at their obligations to make this organisation as big as it should’ve been has been ousted and I’m the new CEO. KSI tweeted something that annoyed me three years ago, so long story short: I took his company from him.”
