Andrew Balding recently disclosed that he has not been able to watch any episodes of the TV show “Celebrity Traitors,” featuring his sister Clare as one of the participants. The accomplished racehorse trainer will be competing with Aidan O’Brien for the 2025 Flat trainers’ championship at Qipco British Champions Day at Ascot. Despite being in second place and trailing O’Brien by £600,000, Balding is gearing up for the final showdown.

Due to his busy schedule and focus on his horses, Balding confessed that he hasn’t had the opportunity to catch up on his sister’s performance on the BBC primetime show. He mentioned that he plans to watch it on iPlayer, possibly during the upcoming half-term break when his kids are back.

Clare Balding, after being ousted from the show, shared her experience and strategy, emphasizing her intention to be friendly to everyone. She formed a bond with Ruth Codd, an Irish actress who met a tragic fate on the show, expressing admiration for Balding and other fellow contestants.

Ruth Codd, reflecting on her time in the castle, praised the camaraderie with Clare Balding, Charlotte Church, and Celia Imrie, highlighting their positive impact on her experience. She expressed her appreciation for their unique personalities and the unexpected connections forged during the show.

Despite initial uncertainties, Codd eventually embraced her role as a faithful participant, citing her loyalty and genuine nature as factors that shaped her journey on the show. She acknowledged the challenges of being in a large group but found solace in the authenticity of her interactions with others.

Notably, the show saw the elimination of prominent figures like Tom Daley and Paloma Faith, who fell victim to the traitors’ schemes. YouTube star Niko Omilana and EastEnders actress Tameka Empson also faced elimination through Round Table discussions, adding suspense and intrigue to the ongoing competition.
