A budget-friendly smartwatch and a supermarket ketchup have been recognized as top products of the year 2025.
The consumer group Which? conducted extensive testing on over 2,000 products to identify the best 50 products that offer exceptional quality and value. Among these standout products, some were deemed the best in their category, others displayed innovative features, and a few were notably affordable.
Leading the list is the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch, priced at under £63 in certain outlets. Despite being significantly cheaper than Apple’s equivalent, Which? praised its high quality, exercise tracking capabilities, and GPS features, awarding it a top rating for ease of use and screen quality. The organization commended the smartwatch for delivering premium performance at a fraction of the cost, urging other brands to take note of its value proposition.
Ranked third is Asda’s Classic Tomato Ketchup, lauded for its rich tomato flavor with a balanced sweetness that outshines more expensive brands. While it matched the taste of the popular Heinz ketchup in a blind test, it comes at a much lower price per 100g, making it a cost-effective choice for consumers.
Securing the second spot is Skoda’s Elroq electric car, the most expensive product in the top 50 list, priced at over £30,000. Which? described the SUV as a premium yet affordable option compared to its competitors, highlighting its exceptional value and performance that left a lasting impression on testers.
Another standout product is Aldi’s Magnum Premium Washing Up Liquid, claiming the tenth spot in the annual ranking. Priced at 95p for a 500ml bottle, it scored higher than the popular Fairy Original, showcasing its effectiveness and affordability in comparison to well-known brands.
The list of top 50 products includes a diverse range of items, from household appliances and cutting-edge technology to everyday essentials like bedding and kitchen supplies.
Harry Rose, the editor of Which? Magazine, emphasized that the standout products of 2025 were chosen based on their ability to enhance home life. Whether it’s a value-for-money TV, a stylish turntable, or an innovative kitchen appliance, these winning products cater to consumers’ growing demand for quality, convenience, and enjoyment in their everyday lives.
