Thomas Skinner has addressed his recent cheating scandal in a now-deleted social media post. The 34-year-old star of The Apprentice, who is scheduled to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, confessed that his involvement with aesthetician Amy-Lucy O’Rourke was a regrettable “moment of madness” that almost had serious consequences.
Despite being married to Sinead since May 2022, Thomas engaged in a brief extramarital relationship just weeks after their wedding. While Amy-Lucy claimed the affair lasted three months, Thomas described it as a short-lived “two-week thing.” He acknowledged his mistake, stating, “I had a fling. It was a one-time error that left me feeling incredibly guilty. I confessed to my wife and deeply regret letting her down during that lapse of judgment.”
In his removed post, Thomas shared a photo of a meal prepared by Sinead, praising their relationship and calling her his “beautiful wife.” He emphasized the importance of acknowledging, learning from, and avoiding repeating mistakes. Thomas also addressed the negative public attention he has received since news of his infidelity broke, expressing confusion over the harsh backlash.
Despite the challenges, Thomas expressed gratitude for his wife’s forgiveness and support, noting that her decision to forgive him was transformative. The couple, who have three children together, have worked through the ordeal and strengthened their bond. Thomas hinted at the possibility of further revelations but underscored his dedication to positivity and hard work.
Thomas and Sinead, parents to son Henry and twin daughters Roma and Darla, met in 2018 in London and got engaged in 2020 shortly after announcing their first pregnancy.
