Environment Canada has canceled a yellow warning for severe weather following a storm that swept through parts of southern Alberta. The agency had cautioned about damaging wind gusts, large hail, and heavy rain as the storm progressed from Claresholm towards areas near Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. The initial warning, issued earlier on Tuesday, highlighted the potential for a dangerous thunderstorm capable of generating baseball-sized hail and causing damage to buildings and trees.

A yellow watch for a severe thunderstorm was still active for a significant portion of the region from Claresholm east to Hays and south to the U.S. border as of Tuesday night. For the latest updates, individuals are encouraged to visit the Environment Canada website.

If you have any photos or videos of the storm, you can share them by emailing calgaryphotos@cbc.ca.
