Director Jacob Tierney has made a polite plea to fans of the popular TV series “Heated Rivalry,” requesting them to respect the privacy of the cast and crew during the filming of Season 2. The message, which was shared on the show’s official Instagram account, urged fans to give the team space to work without interruptions.

Season 2 of “Heated Rivalry” is currently being filmed in Toronto and Montreal, with a possibility of returning to familiar locations in Hamilton, Ont. Fans have been eagerly trying to catch glimpses of the show’s stars, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, who were recently spotted together in downtown Toronto. Williams’ appearance with a Canadian Tire tote bag even sparked a shopping frenzy at the store.

The queer hockey romance, which gained worldwide popularity upon its late 2025 premiere, has attracted a dedicated fan base. Both Williams and Storrie have been cautious in setting boundaries with fans and the media. Instances such as Storrie declining photos with fans and Williams encountering alleged autograph-sellers in Paris have highlighted the need for privacy and respect.

Meanwhile, in Toronto, attention has also been drawn to Sarah Polley’s movie adaptation of “The Bell Jar,” featuring pop star Billie Eilish. Despite efforts to maintain a closed set, unauthorized photos have surfaced on social media, captured by paparazzi or fans.

While “Heated Rivalry” has directly requested space from fans, the production of “The Bell Jar” has not yet issued a similar public request. Fans are reminded to be considerate of the privacy and work environment of entertainment industry professionals during filming.
