KSI launched a fierce social media assault in response to Andrew Tate’s loss to Chase DeMoor in the main event of Misfits Mania on Saturday night. The ongoing feud between the two escalated after Tate replaced KSI as Misfits Boxing’s CEO in a surprising move announced in October.
The popular YouTuber was deeply upset by the shake-up as he had co-founded the organization with manager Mams Taylor. Just before the fight, KSI celebrated Anthony Joshua’s victory over Jake Paul on Twitter, with Joshua securing a win after six rounds.
KSI has a longstanding rivalry with Paul, stemming from their earlier boxing encounters involving their siblings. In a tweet, KSI expressed his desire for an Arsenal win and Tate’s defeat to complete what he considered a fantastic weekend.
Arsenal did secure a 1-0 victory over Everton, prompting KSI to tweet, “This is the best weekend I’ve had this year omg.” Following Tate’s loss, KSI further taunted Paul and Tate by posting a photo of them at vulnerable moments with the caption, “Christmas came early,” along with a crying emoji.
Despite Tate’s extensive experience in combat sports like MMA, kickboxing, K1, and Muay Thai, he had not competed professionally in five years and had never fought in a boxing match before. While Tate started the fight strongly, his stamina seemed to wane as the match progressed.
DeMoor capitalized on this, landing a decisive right hand on Tate, leading to a shift in the match’s momentum. Tate graciously acknowledged DeMoor’s victory post-fight, stating, “Chase deserves his win. I’m really happy for him, genuinely. Better to try and lose than to not try at all.”
After his defeat, Tate shared several reflective posts on social media, including a message about the importance of facing defeat.
