A tragic incident unfolded as a recently married couple was discovered deceased just days before their first wedding anniversary. Rachel and Brandon Dumovich, aged 29 and 30, were found with fatal gunshot wounds in their car on Route 14 in Harvard, Illinois on October 6.
Harvard police came across the couple’s vehicle with hazard lights on, revealing Rachel in the driver’s seat and Brandon in the passenger’s seat, both lifeless. While a temporary shelter-in-place directive was issued for local residents, authorities later confirmed no ongoing threat. The police chief, Tyson Bauman, suggested the possibility of a murder-suicide, pending the final determination by the police force.
