Reality TV star Kate Ferdinand, 34, has described her new life in Dubai as “chaotic”. She and her husband, Rio Ferdinand, 46, recently relocated their family to the UAE, facing challenges in adjusting to the fast-paced environment.
Just a few weeks into their move, Kate mentioned that the family, including their five children, are experiencing over-stimulation. Despite this, they continue to engage in their usual family routines, such as having dinner together.
The couple moved with their two young children, Cree and Shae, while Rio’s older children from his previous marriage, Lorenz, Tate, and Tia, also made the move to Dubai.
Kate acknowledged the need for everyone to adapt to the bustling and noisy surroundings but expressed gratitude for the overall experience. She highlighted the intense but loving atmosphere, emphasizing the strong bond between the children.
In an interview with Kent Life, Kate humorously described their family dinner time as “mental”, with food flying around and drinks spilling, but emphasized the importance of being together as a family during meals.
Kate has been sharing glimpses of their life in Dubai on Instagram, showcasing family moments and workouts. The couple left Bromley in London for a fresh start in Al Barari, a gated community in Dubai, giving followers a peek into their new home and expressing excitement for this new chapter.
Their connection to Dubai holds sentimental value, as it is where Kate and Rio first met almost a decade ago. Rio proposed to Kate in Abu Dhabi, and sources suggest that the Middle East offers convenience for their work commitments in the UK.
The duo’s move to Dubai signifies a significant milestone in their relationship, symbolizing new beginnings and fresh opportunities.
