Renowned athlete and TV personality, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, is gearing up for a new challenge by joining the popular dance competition, Strictly Come Dancing. Known as Nitro from his time on Gladiators, the 37-year-old sprinter has a remarkable athletic background, starting with his early success as a champion sprinter after discovering his talent while evading a dog.
Harry made history at just 17 by winning gold in both the 100 and 200 meters at the World Youth Championships, solidifying his position as a prominent figure in Team GB. His achievements include being named the BBC Young Sports Personality Of The Year in 2005 and winning gold medals at the European Championships and Commonwealth Games in the 4×100 meters relay.
Apart from being a two-time Olympian and a World Bronze Medallist, Harry now focuses on online fitness coaching and managing a successful fitness app while maintaining his passion for athletics. His estimated net worth stands at an impressive £3.9 million.
