Last year’s champions of the popular dance show “Strictly Come Dancing,” Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland, are facing restrictions on working together this season due to the demanding schedule of the competition. The duo, who made history with Chris being the first blind contestant to win the show, shared a close bond and even launched a podcast titled “Winning Isn’t Everything” following their victory.
In a recent social media post on the eve of the new season premiere, Chris hinted at potential disruptions to their podcast, indicating that Dianne might not be able to participate due to her commitments on the show. The grueling rehearsal schedule on “Strictly Come Dancing” has raised concerns among fans, particularly with Dianne expecting a child, prompting worries about her well-being.
Dianne, who previously competed on the show with Joe Sugg in 2018, announced her pregnancy on social media, becoming the first pregnant contestant on the show. The couple shared a creative video unveiling their upcoming arrival, with Joe expressing excitement about their baby boy. Despite their past success on the show, Dianne and Joe fell short of winning the glitterball trophy, losing to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.
Furthermore, Dianne’s outstanding performances on the show have earned her accolades, including a BAFTA for a memorable waltz routine with Chris. The BBC has been contacted for comments on the matter.
