Sky customers in the UK are in for a treat as the new HBO Max streaming service is now available. Subscribers with the Sky Ultimate TV package can access HBO Max for free, which means saving over £50 annually. This service offers a vast library of popular HBO dramas and Warner Bros. films, including favorites like Game of Thrones and Friends.
According to Sky, customers with Sky Ultimate TV on Sky Glass or Sky Stream, and certain Sky Q packages, will automatically receive HBO Max Basic with Ads as part of their subscription. To start watching, users just need to launch the HBO Max app from the homepage and follow the setup instructions.
For those not on the Sky Ultimate TV plan, they can switch to it for £22 per month, which will increase to £24 starting April 1st. This package includes over 130 Sky channels, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and the upcoming Hayu service.
Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed excitement about bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu in a single subscription, offering a comprehensive entertainment experience. NOW Entertainment customers will also have access to HBO Max within the NOW app at no extra cost.
If you’re not a Sky subscriber, you can directly sign up for HBO Max on their website, with Standard with Ads plans starting at £5.99.
