Bargain-hunting expert Jordon Cox has shared a valuable tip on uncovering a hidden expiration code for deals at Tesco. Known as the “Coupon King,” Jordon frequently imparts money-saving advice on social media and features on ITV’s This Morning.
In a recent video, Jordon unveiled a six-digit number system on items under the Clubcard Price promotion at Tesco, indicating the offer’s expiry date. By decoding the number in reverse, one can determine the day, month, and year when the deal ends, allowing savvy shoppers to plan their purchases and maximize savings.
This revelation coincides with Tesco’s reminder to customers to utilize £16.5 million worth of expiring Clubcard vouchers before November 30. Tesco awards Clubcard points for grocery purchases, fuel buys at petrol stations, Tesco Mobile expenses, Tesco credit card transactions, and Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card usage. Accumulating 150 points earns a £1.50 Clubcard voucher, which is redeemable at Tesco. Presently, more than 24 million UK households hold a Tesco Clubcard.
Tesco’s Group Membership and Loyalty Director, Shama Wilson, emphasized the importance of utilizing Clubcard Vouchers, underscoring the significant value of expiring vouchers this quarter. The potential benefits include accessing Clubcard Rewards such as discounted cinema tickets at Cineworld or reward codes for meals at PizzaExpress. Checking for expiring vouchers in the Tesco app is recommended to capitalize on these offerings.
