Judi James, the body language expert, observed Kai’s behavior during the rare public appearance. She noted signs of hero-worship as Kai emulated Trump’s gestures and expressions, indicating a learning process through imitation. Kai also engaged in crowd interactions, following Trump’s lead in energizing the spectators.
As Trump greeted the audience, Kai initially hesitated before joining in to shake hands with onlookers. James suggested a mutual sense of pride between the two, with Trump acknowledging Kai’s autonomy and ambition to establish her individual presence.
Kai Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr, made her first public speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention at the age of 17. She described her grandfather as a typical grandparent who indulges her with treats and checks on her golf progress during school hours.
Trump praised Kai’s golf skills, mentioning their matches together and her success in competitions. Currently, Kai competes for her high school golf team in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The Ryder Cup commenced with Team Europe dominating the first day’s foursomes session with a 3-1 victory, while Bryson DeChambeau of Team United States faced a disappointing start.
