Heavy rainfall is expected across parts of the UK over the next nine hours, raising concerns about potential flooding. The Met Office has issued weather warnings for rain, predicting up to 100mm of rainfall in some areas as a low-pressure system moves eastward through the weekend.

Areas like County Antrim, County Down, western Wales, and northern England are under weather warnings. The heaviest rain is expected in north Wales, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire, with additional downpours anticipated in Humberside later in the day.
