The results for Premium Bonds in November 2025 were revealed today, showcasing the fortunate winners of two £1 million prizes. One winner, residing in Shropshire, secured the £1 million prize with a maximum holding of £50,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 258GE105589, was obtained in October 2015. The second £1 million winner, located in York, also possessed £50,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 568FY679677, was purchased in February 2024.

Premium Bonds, a savings product by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), offer a unique feature where instead of a fixed interest rate, participants are entered into a monthly prize draw. Prizes range from £25 to £1 million, with no guaranteed winnings each month, resulting in most prizes being of smaller denominations.

The maximum savings allowed in Premium Bonds is £50,000, with each £1 investment assigned a distinct bond number. The odds of winning a prize each month stand at 22,000 to 1 for every £1 bond. Andrew Westhead, NS&I Retail Director, congratulated the two jackpot winners from Shropshire and York, emphasizing their significant windfall ahead of the festive season.

Winners are notified of their prizes via email or text message from NS&I, with the option to receive the funds in their bank account or reinvest in Premium Bonds. Utilizing the NS&I online prize checker tool or the Premium Bonds prize checker app allows participants to verify if they have won. The current prize fund rate, equivalent to an interest rate for Premium Bonds, is 3.60%.

The prize fund rate has experienced a gradual decline recently, leading to a slight reduction in larger prizes awarded and an increase in smaller prizes. Despite this, two £1 million prizes are still distributed monthly. The most recent adjustment in the prize fund rate occurred in the August 2025 draw, setting it at 3.60%. Approximately 23 million individuals hold Premium Bonds.
