Samsung has officially announced that the new Galaxy S series smartphones will be revealed later this month at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The technology giant will hold its annual showcase in San Francisco on Wednesday, February 25.
The upcoming event is anticipated to showcase the new Samsung Galaxy S26 series, which includes the standard S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra. For those interested in watching the event live, Galaxy Unpacked will be broadcast on the Samsung website starting at 6pm GMT.
Samsung is also offering incentives for early registration. By signing up here, fans can receive a £30 voucher for Galaxy ecosystem products, double storage when pre-ordering a new phone, and a chance to win one of 10 £500 Samsung vouchers.
Earlier this month, Samsung announced Galaxy Unpacked, highlighting that the new smartphones are designed to enhance daily life through integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) features. The company emphasized that the new Galaxy S series represents a pivotal moment in the AI era.
Preceding the launch, retailers are reducing prices on the current Galaxy S25 range in preparation for the new release. At Sky Mobile, the price of the S25 Ultra has dropped from £43 to £31 per month, saving customers £432. However, there is a £12 upfront cost, and a 36-month contract is required for these prices. Additionally, the plan includes a 100MB data allowance, which may necessitate additional data purchases.
Customers can also enjoy a 20% discount on the standard S25 and S25 Ultra models at Amazon when purchasing outright, with savings of nearly £250 on select models. The prices for these phones have been reduced to £639.20 and £999.20, respectively, but the offer is valid until February 24 or while stocks last.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event will be live-streamed on Samsung.com at 6pm on February 25, with the opportunity for fans to register their interest here.
