Lewis Hamilton has expressed his dissatisfaction with rumors linking Christian Horner to a potential move to Ferrari, stating that it is not beneficial for the team’s performance improvement efforts. Hamilton is striving to help Ferrari regain its winning form in his first season with the team after departing Mercedes.

Previously, Hamilton showed his support for Frederic Vasseur, a sentiment echoed by Ferrari when they recently extended Vasseur’s contract. Recent media speculation suggests that Horner may become available in 2026 following his departure from Red Bull.

When asked about the rumors in Austin before the United States Grand Prix, Hamilton emphasized the importance of continuity for the team’s success. He labeled the rumors as distracting and emphasized the team’s focus on future endeavors, highlighting the hard work being put in by Vasseur and the entire team.

Hamilton, currently in sixth place in the drivers’ championship, has yet to secure a podium finish for Ferrari. Failing to reach the top three in Austin would set a new record for the most races without a podium finish at the start of a Ferrari stint in F1 history.
